Sintered NdFeB magnet is a type of rare earth magnet. Compared with conventional magnets such as alnico or hard ferrite, neodymium iron boron magnets have ten times the power density. The excellent magnetic properties of sintered NdFeB magnets are based on its ferromagnetic matrix phase Nd2Fe14B (tetragonal structure), which has a very high saturation magnetization BS (BS = 1.6T) and an anisotropic magnetic field Hcj as high as 41 kOe. The current energy product of the NdFeB magnet is up to 47 MGOe. In the laboratory, the energy product has reached 56 MGOe. This achievement has now opened up a new application range for NdFeB magnets.
