Neodymium pot magnets are thought to be the ultimate solution for clamping, gripping, and attaching components. Sintered Neodymium magnets will be enclosed in a steel shell, concentrating the magnetic circuit and producing a strong attractive force.

The countersunk hole on these Neodymium Shallow Pot Magnets allows for screw fixings. They are ideal for applications such as cabinet doors, drawers, gate latches, and door holdings where magnets are used to close mechanisms and the screw head must be concealed.

The magnets are magnetized together with the casings to create a holding force that is far greater than that of a single magnet. Considerations for design and handling

Most of our round magnetic assemblies are made with ceramic or neodymium magnets, which are brittle and can break if dropped or riveted. Please exercise caution when handling channel magnet assemblies because their exceptional magnetic force may cause them to attract to metal (or to each other) so strongly that putting fingers in their path may result in pain.

Options for installation

They're also great for shop fitting, where magnets are used to attach shelving, signage, lighting systems, and window displays. Neodymium is the ideal material for these applications because it has a high magnetic strength-to-size ratio, allowing for the use of small magnets in applications where space is limited.
